This update to the CNI Conversations description was announced Feb. 4, 2011:
CNI Conversations is now offered in a podcast-only format. The original conference call format has been discontinued (though may be used again in the future); instead, CNI Executive Director Clifford Lynch will provide periodic 20-30 minute updates on issues of interest to the CNI community beginning with the February 10, 2011 podcast. CNI Conversations continues to be available at http://conversations.cni.org/ (to subscribe to the audio feed add http://conversations.cni.org/feed to iTunes, or any podcatcher).
Original CNI Conversations program description; applies to all Conversations sessions prior to Feb. 2011:
CNI’s Conversations series provides opportunities for participants from member institutions/organizations to talk to CNI Director Clifford Lynch and others, to ask questions, and to hear updates on issues of interest to the community.
Real-time participation in upcoming CNI Conversations events requires pre-registration. Registration is open only to those at member institutions. Dates for upcoming events and instructions for registering are posted to CNI News RSS and to the CNI-ANNOUNCE listserv. We plan to continue to make audio or other records of these sessions generally available after the event.
